SEB Venture Capital is the venture capital arm of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken. We invest venture capital and add competence to and provide a network for companies with substantial growth potential. Our focus is on Technology and Health Care, with the following principal characteristics:

- Products or services which offer competitive advantages that are sustainable over time
- The entrepreneur is expected to be a shareholder in the company and to have relevant industry experience.
- The company has a significant growth potential.

SEB Venture Capital operates on an independent basis. It has its own board of directors and an extensive, in depth contact network within many industries, the service sector and education, both domestically and internationally. SEB Venture Capital is an evergreen fund and has made over 75 investments since its inception in 1995. Of these over 35 have exited. SEB Venture Capital is actively looking for new investment opportunities and acquisition targets for its portfolio companies. Investment size up to MSEK 80.

Industrifonden is a large early stage investor in Swedish growth companies. It combines financing with active ownership, competence and networks and invests in ICT, life sciences and industrial ventures. It covers the whole country, through its direct investments and eleven associate regional and specialist venture capital companies.

Industrifonden invests in cutting-edge, product-oriented companies with export potential. Companies must have strong management, sound business concepts and the potential to earn healthy returns.

Industrifonden is a foundation, set up by the Swedish government in 1979. It receives no government funding and is self-financed by investments from its own capital which thus creates an ever-green fund structure.
